Al Hilal: 28 wins in a row, a new record

Al Hilal SFC Kids Soccer Set broke the world record for consecutive wins when he beat rival Al Ittihad in the Asian Champions League on Tuesday to secure his 28th consecutive victory.

The Saudi Arabian professional league team beat Karim Benzema's Al Ittihad 2-0 to surpass the 27 consecutive wins managed by Welsh Premier League side The New Saints in the 2016-17 season.
Tuesday's win secured Al Hilal a 4-0 aggregate scoreline and sealed their participation in the Asian Champions League semi-finals.

"This is a truly incredible achievement and I want to thank everyone at the club for their contribution to this important winning record," said Al Hilal's Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus.

"However, as I have said throughout this period, records don't matter as much as trophies. It is up to everyone at Al Hilal to ensure that we close the season as champions of the Roshn Saudi League and meet our goals in the cup competitions. Only then can we truly celebrate."

Al Hilal has a 12-point lead in the Saudi Professional League over Al Nassr Women's Soccer Jersey led by Cristiano Ronaldo, despite losing star summer signing Neymar to a cruciate ligament injury in October.

The club was together with Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Ittihad Cheap Football Jersey one of four clubs in the division, which was taken over by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund (PIF) in June 2023.

Former Fulham and Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is behind the success, with the Serbian international scoring 29 goals in 28 games in league and continental competitions.

Kalidou Koulibaly, Rúben Neves and Sergej Milinković-Savić have also played a key role in the impressive form.

This series includes 16 matches in the Saudi league, three in the domestic cup and eight in the Asian Champions League.

The team last failed to win on September 21 in a 1-1 draw with league rival Damac.
On Tuesday, Al Hilal defeated rivals Al-Ittihad in the AFC Champions League to claim a record 28th straight win.
