Charles Barkley Warns Stephen A. Smith Not to Cross the Line in Pre-Game Segment

NBA Hall of Famers Charles Barkley and Stephen A. Smith had a lighthearted interaction on the eve of the NBA Midseason Championship semifinals. Barkley warned Smith not to exaggerate too much on the show or he would teach him a lesson.

NBA analysts Charles Barkley and Stephen A. Smith engaged in a playful exchange during a pre-game segment for the NBA In-Season Tournament game between the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.

Barkley jokingly warned Smith not to cross the line during their segment, saying, "Let me tell you something, Stephen A. If you come over here with all that loud-ass talking, this ain't 'First Take.' This is gonna be the first ass whooping you'll take if you come over here with that loud-ass talk."

Smith and the rest of the broadcast crew laughed in response to Barkley's remarks. The lighthearted banter between the two analysts added to the excitement of the game, which the Pacers won 128-119.

The Pacers held a 12-point lead over the Bucks at halftime, but Milwaukee fought back in the third quarter behind Damian Lillard's hot shooting. The game remained close until the Pacers pulled away in the fourth quarter.

Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton drilled a three-pointer over Brook Lopez from the right quarter-court to seal the victory for Indiana. Haliburton then looked at his wrist as if to say, "It's our time."

The friendly rivalry between Barkley and Smith is a staple of NBA commentary, and their banter is always entertaining for fans. Hopefully, we will see more of their antics in the future.
